Near Place For Interest :- Pakshipathalam 7.5 kms from Kalindi Resort. This place can be accessed only by trekking. Rare species of birds can be sighted from the watch tower of this bird sanctuary.
Thirunelly Temple:-1 km from the Resort. The centuries old shrine is a marvel of temple architecture, is shielded with 30 granite columns and the ground is paved with huge square pieces of granite. The Papanasini River running downhill, adds to the enchantment of the place.
Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary :- The vegetation is predominantly moist deciduous forest with smaller stretches of swamps, teak forests, bamboo and tall grass. Amidst such a fertile and varied flora, this region hosts several rare herbs and medicinal plants. You can see the animal species like Elephant, Leopard, Gaur, Sambar, Cheetal, Barking Deer, Hanuman Langur, Tiger and Slender Loris
