Lilly�s Valley Resort was the very first resort to be built in Kodaikanal in 1982 by Mr. Raj A. Sukumar. Sukumar was born in the southern tip of Tamil Nadu, India. After traveling all over India, away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives.
Our rooms are equipped with modern bathroom facilities, gorgeous wooden ceilings, and in many cases fire places to warm the cool mountain evenings. Many rooms have sitting areas out front to relax and enjoy the open view.
Our specialty kitchen provides room service, restaurant service at a large, open, 8-sided dome with spectacular views, and picnicking anywhere on the property. Our menu caters to a wide variety of tastes, yet specializes in south Indian, home-style cuisine. In addition, guests can choose from the many and varied restaurants that are close by.
Playground areas, including swings, hammock and a tree house make our resort particularly unique and inviting for families with children. We have open spaces for running, playing badminton, strolling through the flower gardens and for late-night campfires and sing-alongs.
We also have a naturally occurring spring which originates from our land. We collect the fresh, delicious water and pump it to the kitchen for cooking and to our rooms for washing and bathing.
