The hilly district of Coorg in Karnataka is land locked . It is a comfortable 05 hours drive from Bangalore - 242 kms. The nearest rail head is Mysore - 100kms. The coastal town of Mangalore is just 132 kms.
Coorg offers pleasant temperate climate throughout the year. Even in peak summers the mercury does not soar beyond 30 degrees Celsius. That makes it an ideal getaway for a hoilday throughout the year.

Abbey Fall - It is 8kms from the Hotel. Water falls surround by hills and lush green coffee, cardamom, pepper vines.
Mercara Fort - 02 kms from the Hotel bulit by the British rulers, it Houses a nice museum.
Omkareshwara Temple - A temple with four Minarets controversial for it's Mausoleum kind of Architecture. It gives credence to some views that the Kodagu tribes are originally from Turkey.
Raja Seat - This is a scenic park overlooking the valleys and hills. The erstwhile rulers of Kodagu sat here in the evenings. There are many legends attached to this park. This is also famous as Sunset Point.
Bhagamandala - It is 06 Kms before Talacauvery. Famous for it's Temples and SpiceResearch Station.
Talacauvery - 38 Kms before Talacauvery. Famous for it's temples and SpiceResearch Station.
Museum - Housed in the Fort. Relics of the past rulers and the soldiers of Coorg are kept here.
Harangi Dam - 26 kms. This is a Dam on the River cauvery in idyllic and serene surroundings.
Nisargadhama - It is 7 kms from HARANGI. An island on the River cauvery connected by a rope bridge. The island is full of Bamboo thickets. Boating and Elephant rides are organized subject to weather conditions.
Elephant Camp - It is 8 kms from Nisargadhama. an elephant Training Camp run by the Forest Department where wild tuskers are trained. The camp is across the river cauvery where Ferry service is run by tribals in old canoes.
Fishing Camp - It is 4 kms from the Elephant Camp. The river cauvery is famous for it's Game fish GOLDEN Mahseer. This camp is in the back waters of Cauvery. Fishing permits can be organized at nominal rates. Guests requested to bring own fishing Rods/ Angles.
Trekking - Half and full day treks can be organized with prior notice. Distances and durations can be tailor made. Guides and transport the starting point will be charged on actuals.
Fishing / Angling - 30 kms from Mercara is the Valanoor fishing camp. One can look forward to a good catch of Golden Masheer, Maral or Map. Guests are requested to carry their own fishing equipment. Fishing permits can be arranged on prior notice. Fees - 250/- per day for the permit.
Golf - Mercara Downs - the nine hole golf course is just 04 kms from the Hotel. Guests have to carry their own Clubs and kit. Caddies are available. Ice boxes and Packed lunches can be arranged as the Glof Club does not have a Restaurant / Bar.
Visit to Coffee Estates - Coorg is famous for it's Coffee estates. Visits to Coffee Estates with Ethnic Coorgi Lunch at a Planter's Bungalow can be organised. Rs.350/- per person for the ethnic lunch.
